Chillicothe Swim Teams came home victorious! We swam
at Westerville South in a quad meet - Westerville South,
Newark, Northland and Chillicothe. We took 13 girls
and only 4 boys. Westerville had 42 swimmers, Newark
28 and Northland 32. The girls took 2nd and the boys
took 2nd. These kids are AWESOME! No quitting, no giving

to thier first meet of the season in Athens at the University.
On the most part every swimmer seemed pleased with their first
performance. Now they all know where they have to go and how
to get there. All the kids put forth and tremendous effort,

2005 the CHS swimmers travelled over 2 hours for a very large
Invitational at Marietta. |
There were 16 boys teams, with the Cavs placing 2nd and bringing
home a runnerup trophy. Miguel Ventimilla set 2 meet records.
The 50FS he went :23.19, the record was 24.47. In the 100BF
he went 57.20, the record was 58.49. This was great but he does

44 Portsmouth Notre Dame 38. The CHS Cavaliers Swimmers
beat Portmouth Notre Dame in every event. Cole Hatmaker, Jordan
Friel and Michael Braunlin each had 2 first places each and
both of their relays took first. Matt Berry had a first place
of his own and was on both of the winning relays.
