Championship: Logan 1 Gallipolis 0 - 8 innings. A tremendous
championship game. While the two teams combined to leave 22
runners on base, both defenses and both pitchers constantly
came through with big plays. Logan won it on a two-out eighth-inning
single, a walk, and another single. Third place: Marietta
7 Ironton 1. Fifth place: Warren 3 Jackson 0. Seventh place:
Athens 19 Portsmouth 2. Ninth place: Zanesville 11

Chillicothe had committed four errors. Annie Downing had a

had four hits - one by Annie Downing, another by Paige Dempsey
and Hannah Uhrig had two hits with a triple and a single.

The Cavaliers really struggled today. The Cavaliers only had
two hits, one by Karol Ojeda and the other by Samantha Jacobs.
Gallia had 5 hits total.

Chillicothe had four hits by, Sam Jacobs, Hannah Uhrig, Brittany
Steinbrook and Taylor Good. Portsmouth had 16 hits. There
were very few errors committed by either team. The Portsmouth
catcher broke her nose on a fly ball which tipped her glove.

Chillicothe was ahead for the first few innings, but lost
it due to some great hitting on the part of Jackson. Chillicothe
is greatly improved from the previous year and I look for
there to be several wins this season. Just about every person
on the team had a hit last night on Chillicothe's team.
